Meet Jann Ticknor – Health in Common’s Newest Planning and Evaluation Facilitator!

We are very pleased to welcome Jann Ticknor to the HiC team this month as our newest Planning and Evaluation Facilitator. Jann brings ten years of community-based health planning, evaluation, and research experience to the HiC team. Having studied and worked in Halifax for over a decade, Jann returned to Manitoba in 2012, and is delighted to share her skills with HiC and the communities they work with. Collaborative, socially just, and evidence based projects undertaken with community members gets her motor-running. She looks forward to meeting and working with you!

Hands on Evaluation Training at New Directions

In May, Health in Common is excited to be working with New Directions for Children, Youth, Adults and Families to provide onsite evaluation training. The four days of training will walk staff through the steps of evaluation planning. At the end of the training, groups will have created an evaluation plan for their own programs while developing evaluation knowledge and skills.

If you are looking for help developing evaluation plans for your program – check out our evaluation planning workbook or give us a call!
