Our 2014 Gathering is Near!

Let’s face it, leadership is about taking responsibility; there’s no way around it. A healthy organization requires leadership committed to employee well-being and organizational effectiveness.

Join us on Thursday, October 2nd for a facilitated discussion about leadership and its role in creating and sustaining a healthy workplace.

Doors open at 3:00; Program 3:30 pm
245 McDermot Avenue (4th Floor)

We’ll provide the food and friends, and host a conversation that draws on stories and examples from community organizations. All you need to bring is yourself.
There’s still room to join us! Give Sara a shout; contact@healthincommon.ca, (204) 946-1888, ext 150.

Northern Field Trip

Our Executive Director, Cathy, had an opportunity to visit projects funded through the Northern Manitoba Food, Culture and Community Fund in Leaf Rapids and South Indian Lake. The funds exist to support communities in northern Manitoba, helping increase access to healthy food and to improve community health as well as community economic development. Health in Common is evaluating the collaborative funding model that makes this work possible.
