The Future of Food

Anna and Jann facilitated a discussion of 80 stakeholders at Food Matters Manitoba’s Future of Food event on February 20. The event invited stakeholders to describe their vision for Winnipeg’s future and develop an action plan to help make it happen. The input gathered will be presented to the City of Winnipeg to demonstrate the importance of a Winnipeg Food Strategy.

We’re Famous! (Kind of…)

Last month we told you that we were thrilled to be the newest recipient of the Green Action Centre’s GOLD Commuter Friendly Workplace Award for 2014. Since then it’s been quite a whirlwind of great press (can you say local celebrities?!).

Dan and Anna were interviewed by Radio-Canada, as well as CTV. We even received a letter from Mayor Brian Bowman congratulating us on our efforts!
