Health in Common News

Goodbye, Anna

Our small office just got a little smaller! As we finish up our  year end reports, Anna finishes up her time with us at Health in Common. Anna has accepted a job with the University of Manitoba as an Outreach Coordinator with the Office of Sustainability – an area that she is incredibly passionate about.

Anna, although we will miss you, it’s clear that exciting opportunities and challenges are at your door step. Thanks for implementing a composting system here at HiC, launching lunch club, making Thursday a standing board game day, and, of course, all your hard work. Congratulations!

Let’s get Focused!

Since November, we have been working with Social Research and Demonstration Corporation to connect with employment assistance providers around the province and understand how they deliver employment and training services. To further inform this process, Bo, Erin, and Sara have been cruising around the province and hosting focus groups with providers. Later this month they will be in Selkirk and Steinbach – and look forward to the conversations!
