Happy and Healthy

Last month we sat down as a team and had our annual Healthy Organization discussion. Running through a checklist of indicators, we explored what what we were doing well and what we can improve in year ahead.

It is about more than having somewhere to put your bike. Being a healthy organization means creating and sustaining an environment that promotes employee well-being, as well as organizational effectiveness. This is about the organizational culture, climate and practices. How is your organization doing?

We can help you start the discussion and, if you choose, facilitate a process that will help you become a healthier organization. Contact us today!

2015 CES Conference

Last month Sara made the trip to beautiful Montreal to attend the 2015 Canadian Evaluation Society Conference (CES 2015). She learned tons about evaluation, data visualization, and non-leathal PowerPoint presentations and cannot wait to apply it to her work here at HiC!

Westward ho! Jann sets out for new opportunities and adventures

Jann is moving on to a new role in Regina where she will tour the province, working with Indigenous communities to coordinate the roll-out of the Saskatchewan Indigenous HIV/AIDS Strategy. Excited to learn with and from local people, Jann is also looking forward to discovering the up-and-coming awesome in Regina.

Though Jann has been with us only a short time (just over one year!), she brought so much to our workplace that we’re going to miss. It’s been a pleasure learning from you, working with you, and most importantly, eating shawarma with you. Safe travels and until next time!
