Health in Common News

The HiC Gathering is coming up soon!

Will we see you on Thursday, October 15?

Join us for a hands-on discussion about building a culture of planning and evaluation in your organization.

We’ll provide the food and friends, all you need to bring is yourself.
Give Sara a shout if you would like to join us; scastagna@healthincommon.ca,
(204) 946-1888, ext 106.

Welcome to the Team, Krista!

krista-full

At the end of August, Krista Rogness joined the Health in Common team as a new Planning and Evaluation Facilitator. Having recently completed her coursework at the University of Manitoba City Planning program, she is eager to bring her expertise and skills in research, planning, and community development to HiC. Krista is already lending a hand to various projects, and is diving into evaluations for the Northern Healthy Foods Initiative (NHFI) and Supported Apartment Living (SAL). She is delighted to share her passion and enthusiasm in planning for healthy and happy cities with you!

Social Status

As the world of digital media evolves,  lots of us use online platforms to stay connected in real time to what’s going on outside of the office. Lucky for you guys, we’re on Twitter and unlike our monthly eNewsletter or weekly eBulletin, we tweet all the time! Follow us for up to date info on training and funding opportunities, job postings, health promotion days, resources, and events going on around Winnipeg and beyond.

We’re always looking for resources and news to share, and to build new connections!

If you have information on planning and evaluation, or have a focus on healthy, sustainable communities, get in touch with Sara; scastagna@healthincommon.ca, (204) 946-1888, ext 106. See you around the Twitterverse!
