Thank You!

Our annual Gathering came and went – and what an afternoon it was! Thanks to everyone who took part in the discussion about building an organizational culture of planning and evaluation.  We hope that you left the event will full minds and bellies (thanks Peppercorn & Co.!) To see all of the photos from the event, check out our Facebook page!

Do you have questions about how we can help your organization get started? Contact us!

Tides Canada

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of putting together a visual report that rolled up the projects of northern Manitoba’s first funding collaborative, the Northern Manitoba Food, Culture, and Community Fund (NMFCCF). The fund, hosted by Tides Canada, is focused on increasing access to healthy food and improving community health and community economic development.

The 2014 report contains photos and descriptions of 11 projects completed in northern Manitoba. The booklet was designed so that each community had a two-page spread. Today, each participating community can print their own report to share news about their project successes, impacts and lessons learned.

CCEDNET Gathering

Health in Common attended the CCEDNet Gathering this past month.
In a speed networking workshop, Daniel helped folks ‘connect the dots’ to evaluation; what doing an evaluation can look like, and how to get started.
Along with a little bit of work, there was a little bit of play; we caught up with partners we have not seen in a while, shared food and stories, and learned about other work other CED agencies are tackling – including how other organizations are using social media #gath2015.
We hope to see you there next year!
