Goodbye, Dan

This month we say goodbye to Dan, our Research and Technical Support guru. Dan has been with Health in Common for seven (!) years but has decided to follow his entrepreneurial heart and open Winnipeg’s newest escape room this summer.

Over the years, we’ve grown to rely on Dan’s attention to detail, his knack for data management and analysis, and his ability to fix computers by merely standing next to them (among other tech-savvy solutions). Thanks for bringing your positive attitude to work every day, and for sometimes bringing homemade ribs for lunch.

Best of luck on this new adventure, we will miss you!

Goodbye, Reashelle

We are sad to say that Reashelle is moving west! Reashelle has been wooed to Edmonton where she will be working as a Program Evaluation Coordinator for the Government of Alberta.

Reashelle has been with us only a short time (just over one year!), and our small office won’t be the same without her. Her keen eye on data, love of learning, and uncanny ability to sense when we need milk for coffee will be sorely missed. Reashelle, it’s been a pleasure working with you and we wish you every success. Best wishes and stay in touch!

HiC Executive Directors’ Breakfast Series Wraps Up

Many thanks to all the Executive Directors who joined us for our breakfast series at Assiniboine Park’s Qualico Centre. We met three times over a hot breakfast to network and learn from each other, and discussed three topics; Being a Healthy Organization, Implementing Strategic Plans, and Strengthening Capacity for Evaluation.

To see photos from the breakfasts in October, December and February, check out our Facebook page!

We would also like to congratulate Rainbow Resource Centre, winner of up to two days of Health in Common services! Each time participants attended a breakfast, they were entered into the draw; the winner was drawn at the final February 16th gathering.
