Planning Support

Engagement through Planning

Health in Common will provide planning support to communities and organizations who:

  • use inter-sectoral partnerships to address well-being
  • seek to improve social, environmental, cultural and economic well-being
  • focus on community development or healthy public policy

Planning support includes consultation on a specific aspect of a planning process and/or facilitating the development of a community or organizational plan.

Consultation may be specific to one aspect of planning such as process development, stakeholder identification, identifying tools, indicator development or facilitation.

Facilitation of a planning process will involve Health in Common working with you to:

  • assess planning needs
  • facilitate skill development
  • plan and facilitate the process
  • share learnings with others
  • identify next steps based on planning outcomes

Up to 7 hours of planning support will be provided free of charge. Additional cost, if applicable, will be determined in consultation with the organization, based on project scope and available resources.
